CHANGES
Find out how you can help.
Lovejoy's student population is approximately 4300 students.
Lovejoy's volume of single use cafeteria waste items for the 2021-2022 school year was over 1.1 Million items that went to the landfill.
We are changing that by reducing the amount of single-use items, encouraging use of reusable food containers and drink bottles and increasing recycling across the district.
Join the Green Team and turn your passion about the environment into action!
OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE A CLEANER AND GREENER LOVEJOY ISD BY REDUCING WASTE AND INCREASING REUSE AND RECYCLING ACROSS THE DISTRICT
CAFETERIA RECYCLING
Show your Leopard Pride to properly recycle items so we can reduce landfill waste. Look for signs in cafeterias with recycling guidelines.
